The history and novelty of recreational marijuana in Colorado has been extensively covered by national media.

This includes the spotlight CNN shined on the resort town of Breckenridge in its “High Profits” series that focused on the Breckenridge Cannabis Club.

Katherine Grimm, a cannabis consultant and one of the featured players in “High Profits” joins Ricardo Baca on The Cannabist Show, where she answers the question many are asking: Was the year depicted in the show true to her experiences with the Breckenridge Cannabis Club and the drama on Main Street?

Grimm is quick to clarify that it’s a “docu-series” and not a reality show, but regardless, Grimm says that the show “stayed true to what happened”.

“In terms of the representation of me, obviously it was a very select piece of my personality that you were seeing”, Grimm says. “But that’s me, that’s how I do business. I’m aggressive and I steamroll people, and that’s me. So I don’t feel like they misrepresented me at all. Everyone else was portrayed as I know them as well.”
